Role Summary
* In this role, you will ensure manufacturing processes and inspection methods meet or exceed customer quality expectations while providing technical support to quality and engineering personnel. You will serve as a Planning Review Board member for Quality, create and revise Inspection Instructions, and translate technical data into effective Manufacturing/Quality planning and First Article Inspections (FAIs). Education & Job Requirements
* 4-year degree such as BS/BA in Business Administration, Industrial Technology/Management, or Engineering.
* Minimum of 5 years of quality experience meeting or exceeding customer expectations, preferably in aerospace, or equivalent experience in aviation manufacturing planning.
* Extensive GD&T experience applied to machined and composite parts.
* Thorough understanding of AS9100/AS9102 standards and First Article Inspection planning.
* Experience creating Quality Inspection Instructions, identifying appropriate inspection placement within planning routes.
* Ability to extract and interpret complex models in Catia V6 & 3DX for Advanced Quality Planning activities.
* Ability to navigate MES systems including CAMS, SAP ECC, and SAP PEO.
* Strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and ability to work efficiently with minimal oversight. Professional Attributes

* Build and revise First Article Inspection (FAI) Plans and Quality Inspection Instructions (QIIs) for complex composite and metal machined parts, and rotor system components.
* Serve as a Planning Review Board member for Quality, ensuring configuration management compliance through audits, evaluation, and tracking.
* Interface with end users, customers, and subcontractors to resolve technical and quality issues.
* Support new aircraft development, legacy products, and the implementation of advanced quality technologies. Physical Requirements & Environment
