Role Summary
* In this role, you will support Quality Operations by coordinating First Article Inspection (FAI) activities, ensuring compliance with FAA certification requirements, and maintaining accurate documentation for parts, assemblies, and installations. You will collaborate cross-functionally to drive compliance, continuous improvement, and high-quality standards within a production environment. Education & Job Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Business Administration, Industrial Technology/Management, Engineering, or related field.
* 3–5 years of aviation experience preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Must be a U.S. Person.
* Ability to work onsite in Amarillo, TX.
* Ability to work a 4x10 shift (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM), weekdays. Professional Attributes

* Training in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
* CATIA training.
* Experience in technical writing.
* Knowledge of Bell systems such as ENOVIA, SAP, and QlikView.
* Knowledge of FAA certification procedures under 14 CFR Part 21 (21.33) and 8130-9 Statements of Conformity.
* Experience working with ODA Unit Members or FAA designees (DARF) preparing conformity packages.
* Experience with documentation and build records including Certificates of Conformance (C of C), 8130-9 forms, material certifications, inspection check sheets, and acceptance test reports. Job Duties & Functions
* Assist and coordinate First Article Inspection (FAI) activities.
* Resolve CAMs issues related to FAIs.
* Assist in the creation and tracking of First Article Requirement Records (FARR).
* Perform planned instruction reviews to ensure adequacy and adherence to customer requirements.
* Maintain and verify documentation and build records for traceability from raw material to final product.
* Provide reports and status updates as requested.
* Identify opportunities to engage the workforce in building quality into products.
* Support a team environment focused on compliance and continuous process improvement.
* Maintain in-depth knowledge of department and plant policies and procedures. Physical Requirements & Environment
* Work performed onsite in a production/manufacturing environment.
* Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
* Ability to use computers and standard office equipment.
* May require interaction within shop or production floor environments.
