What is the OJT Internship Program?

An internship program that opens the doors to the competitive and rapidly developing world of the aviation industry by offering our candidates who need to complete the OJT internship to obtain their dispatcher license the opportunity to make a strong start in their careers at Turkish Airlines and continue as a dispatcher!

Application Requirements

We are looking for colleagues who meet the following requirements:  

✈ Turkish citizen or blue card holder,

✈ Born on or after 01.01.1980,

✈ Graduated with at least an associates degree,

         *The candidates who graduated from universities abroad are required to submit YÖK Equivalence Certificate.

         *Those who have completed all their courses in the “Flight Operations Management” associate degree program and have only a compulsory internship left for graduation can apply.

✈ Will do the compulsory OJT internship in orderto obtain the SHY-UHU dispatcher license or to take the license exam,

✈ Good command of English,

        *English exams will be conducted by Turkish Airlines Inc.

✈ Being able to work in shifts,

✈ Not having criminal record or criminal record archive record,

✈ Not currently working in any of Turkish Airlines Inc. Affiliates,

✈ Who have not resigned from their previous positions due to disciplinary reasons,

✈ Have not previously left Turkish Airlines Inc. or its affiliates through termination.

Job Description

✈ During the internship period;

✈ Creating flight plans and briefing packages and sending them to the flight captains and/or relevant stations,

✈ Ensuring the distribution of updated documents and information to the staff and realizing the necessary information flow,

✈ Identifying operational problems that may occur during the flight planning phase and taking measures by coordinating with the relevant units,

✈ In case of emergency or unusual conditions (accident-disaster, hijacking, stoppage of operation, etc.) in flight operation, informing the immediate superior without delay in order to ensure the continuity of the operation,

✈ Trainees are expected to coordinate and follow up with the relevant departments for obtaining/changing the necessary overpass permits during the planning phase of the schedules related to the flights and/or during the operational timeframe and enter them into the system.

Manner of Application and Evaluation Processes

 • The job advertisement will be removedonce targeted number of candidates is reached.

 • Evaluation processes to beapplied consist of; check of compliance with the advertisement criteria, onlinegeneral abilities and English exam, video interview, online English interview,personality inventory and face-to-face HR and department technical interviews. Additional evaluation tools can be applied if needed.

 • OJT internship candidates who are evaluated positively in the process will have the opportunity to be employed full-time with the title of “Dispatcher” as a result of the performance evaluation made by the relevant unit managers at the end of the internship process.

 • The workplace is our campuslocated at Istanbul Airport.

 • Working hours: ourcolleagues in the department work in shift order.

 • Within the scope of the compulsory internship, the internship insurance is expected to be covered by the school or training center.

           - Transcript,

           - Criminal Record and Criminal Archive Record Document (the type of institution must be selected as “Official” on the “Criminal Record Inquiry” screen),

           - SSI Registration and Service Scheme (a barcoded document must be created byselecting the “SSI Registration and Service Scheme” field under the “SSI”heading),

           - Document showing the Flight Dispatcher Examination Success Score

           - Course Completion Certificate (valid for those who received Dispatcher training at the relevant training centers)

           - Additional document(s) certifying your experience, if any (certificate, document, etc.).
