Role Summary
* In this role, you will perform inspections, maintenance, repairs, and modifications on aircraft engines, APUs, and associated systems. You will operate ground support equipment, assist with operational checks and engine runs, and maintain accurate documentation of work performed. You will ensure compliance with maintenance manuals, FAA regulations, and safety standards while contributing to a high-performance aviation team. Education & Job Requirements
* FAA Powerplant License required.
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
* Proficient in operating industrial vehicles and equipment, including scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts.
* Proficient with basic PC skills for documentation and recordkeeping.
* Own and maintain hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory control. Preferred Skills
* Experience with turbine engines and auxiliary power units (APUs).
* Prior experience performing off-aircraft component repairs.
* Familiarity with environmental, health, and safety protocols, including 5S initiatives.
* Ability to assist with engine runs and functional tests. Job Duties & Functions
* Inspect engines, APUs, and components in accordance with maintenance manuals.
* Assist with installation, removal, modifications, and repairs of engines, APUs, and associated aircraft systems.
* Perform and document work per appropriate manuals and FAA regulations.
* Assist with operational checks, functional tests, and complete engine runs.
* Operate ground support equipment safely and effectively.
* Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
* Participate in maintaining environmental, health, and safety compliance, including 5S activities. Physical Requirements & Environment
* Ability to work in hangar and shop environments with exposure to noise, temperature changes, and aircraft fluids.
* Ability to lift, carry, and manipulate components and tools as required.
* Ability to operate industrial equipment safely.
* Frequent standing, bending, climbing, and reaching overhead.
