Provides practical support for software engineering tasks, including design, development, integration, verification, debugging, and documentation under general supervision. Works with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, contribute to design, implement, and test code, and support system integration and verification in a dynamic environment.

* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, or equivalent combination of technical education and experience

* Assist with the design, development, testing, and maintenance of embedded software throughout the software lifecycle
* Gather information to review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into initial software designs
* Assist with the development, enhancement, optimization, and integration of software products
* Assist with documentation and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs
* Assist with debugging and resolution of technical issues to ensure reliability and efficiency
* Support implementation of current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulations
* Assist in developing, monitoring, and improving software processes, tools, and performance metrics
* Assist in software research, project management, and supplier coordination
* Track and evaluate software team and supplier performance to ensure compliance with plans and standards Preferred Skills
* Experience developing embedded real-time software with C, C++, Java, Python, Rust, or Ada
* Experience working with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
* Experience with Agile software development and workflow tools
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with stakeholders of varying skill levels
