Estimated Contract Length: 24 months
Join our dynamic IT team as a Senior Advanced Applications Developer Specialist, where youll design and deliver software solutions that meet business needs. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate, innovate, and lead in an Agile environment while ensuring seamless integration, efficiency, and security of product development and data management applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain middleware applications, automation frameworks, and system integrations using Java, Python, and SQL
- Build and optimize cloud-based solutions in AWS, leveraging services and automation tools
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery
- Integrate enterprise platforms using Windchill REST Services (WRS) API
- Design and implement data integration frameworks and scalable backend services
- Debug complex production issues and implement long-term technical solutions
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture designs, and implementation plans
- Participate in Agile (SAFe/Scrum) ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog refinement
- Lead technical initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and drive engineering best practices
- Develop scripts and tools to improve automation, monitoring, and team efficiency
- Support emerging technology initiatives including AI/ML integrations
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience (OR Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience)
- 8+ years (Or 6+ with MS) of experience in enterprise software development
- Expertise in programming languages (Java, Python, SQL, etc.) and tools like Git, AWS CLI, and Splunk
- Strong skills in building data integration frameworks, writing clean code, and debugging complex systems
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum) and experience with CI/CD pipelines
- A proven ability to translate business needs into actionable designs and technical documentation
- Solid communication and problem-solving skills, with a knack for collaboration and leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with WRS development and REST services for seamless application integration
- The ability to lead high-impact projects, mentor team members, and foster a culture of growth
- A commitment to continuous learning and staying ahead in the ever-evolving tech landscape
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills to align technical solutions with business objectives
