Telemetry Tracking and Control Test Engineer job is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Aerospace / Defense company. In this remote, work from home, telecommute job you will be part of a cross functional team supporting our nations missile defense initiatives!
Responsibilities:
- Develop system test procedures, execute integration testing, and verify requirements through system-level validation
- Integrate and validate CCSDS interoperability standards, including:
- Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies to integration and test (I&T)
- Develop and execute automated test scripts, including C2 command and telemetry flows
- Support STTC (S-band) RF integration and test activities
Qualifications:
- Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or STEM and 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Masters degree plus 6 years of job-related experience
- System Level test experience including integration, verification and validation (V&V) of Ground Resource Management (GRM), Network Management (NM), C2, Flight Dynamics (FD), Planning & Scheduling (P&S), Mission Planning (MP), and Fire Control Element (FCE)
- Test engineer that understands the importance of Test and System Engineering ownership "cradle to grave" on a fast paced system design program
- Experience with CCSDS (interoperability) , XTCE (data exchange format for spacecraft telemetry), cFS (common framework system)
- MBSE experience and flow to integration and test (I&T) for verification and validation
- COTS tool experience with OpenC3 or similar product
Preferred Qualifications:
- Space-Ground and Ground-Antenna for Common Ground Enterprise COTS-based C2 System
- Space command operational experience
- Lab or operational COTS integration experience working side by side with the system engineering team
- Antenna build-out, operation, and interfaces with knowledge and ground entry point (GEP) as a service
- Subsystem integration experience with command queue, InfluxDB and Redis
