Role Summary
* In this role, you will support activities to plan, conduct, and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes. You will fabricate, assemble, and maintain test systems, flight simulation equipment, and other electrical/electronic assemblies. You will troubleshoot issues, perform system integration and testing, and coordinate test requirements, contributing to high-quality, reliable solutions in a lab environment. Education & Job Requirements
* Associate degree or equivalent technical education; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience with fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems using production industry standards.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in an engineering lab environment or comparable military experience.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.
* U.S. person required for export compliance. Professional Attributes

* Experience working with flight simulation equipment.
* Experience in maintaining computer hardware.
* Experience with Mil-Spec connector termination.
* Experience with Mil-Spec fiber optic termination and splicing. Job Duties & Functions
* Install and maintain flight simulation equipment, including computers, monitors, audio/visual systems, crew stations, and rack equipment.
* Troubleshoot and resolve electronic hardware issues with minimal downtime.
* Plan, conduct, and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes.
* Design, fabricate, assemble, and analyze test systems, components, and software methodologies.
* Coordinate test requirements and determine test methods and capabilities.
* Conduct system test preparations, including integration, setup, checkout, and tear-down.
* Troubleshoot and resolve laboratory and test-related problems.
* Coordinate test laboratory activities, maintenance, and repairs.
* Coach and train others as required.
* Work under general supervision and follow established procedures. Physical Requirements & Environment
