Schedule: Monday–Friday Primarily 1st Shift (7:00 AM) with flexibility for 2nd (3:00 PM) or 3rd (11:00 PM) shifts based on business needs

In this role, you will support the testing and validation of hydraulic and electro-mechanical components that power modern aircraft. Your work will directly contribute to product safety, performance, and certification—helping keep the future of aviation moving forward.
What You’ll DoAs a Test Engineer, you will play a hands-on role in the development, execution, and optimization of advanced test systems. Key responsibilities include:
Set up, automate, and execute tests for electro-mechanical and hydraulic actuation components.
Troubleshoot and maintain complex test systems, including multi-axis hydraulic loading, thermal control, motor controls, and data acquisition systems.
Develop and enhance software for test automation and data acquisition.
Maintain and support calibration of test equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Design and assemble custom data acquisition and control systems.
Support external lab testing such as vibration, altitude, humidity, icing, and environmental simulations.
Collaborate cross-functionally to improve test methods, processes, and product performance.
Analyze test data, identify issues, and implement effective solutions.
Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of engineering or aviation technical experience.
Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access).
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness and flexibility to transition to 2nd or 3rd shift based on business needs.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with LabVIEW, MATLAB Simulink, or MathCAD.
Knowledge of hydraulic actuators, valves, accumulators, pumps, and power systems.
Familiarity with electro-mechanical actuators, ball screws, gears, and control systems.
Understanding of regulatory and certification testing requirements.
Experience with vibration, fatigue, endurance, thermal, pressure, and environmental testing.
Background in motors, controls, and test validation methodologies.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
