Location: The position is based at our Mississauga location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

Why join our team? 

The DPHM team is looking for innovative engineers and data scientists that can apply numerical methods to complex turbomachinery systems operating in service. The candidate will support the development of solutions that provide automated diagnostic and prognostic capabilities to identify shifts/deterioration in the engine’s major mechanical systems.

What will your day-to-day look like?

You will conduct exploratory analysis on engine data collected from field operations, with results presented through dashboard applications such as Power BI. These analyses may lead to the development of algorithms that will be tested and deployed into production pipelines using technologies such as SSIS, AWS, or Databricks.

What do you need to be successful? 

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Pursuing studies in  Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Data Engineering, Data Science, or related fields of study.
  • Beneficial Skillsets: DataBricks, AWS, C++, SQL, AWS Lambda, & PowerBI

The salary range for this role is 21.60 to 31.00 CAD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
