PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace organization to hire a Government Logistics and Sustainment Systems Advisor to support advanced modeling, simulation, and systems engineering initiatives. In this high-visibility role, you will help shape digital sustainment strategies, improve operational readiness, and support mission-critical government programs. What You’ll DoAs a Government Logistics and Sustainment Systems Advisor, you will work with cross-functional teams to develop model-based sustainment and logistics solutions that drive better operational decision-making. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the development and implementation of systems engineering processes and tools for sustainment and support programs
Contributing to model-based sustainment simulation capabilities that enable supportability trade studies and informed decision-making
Collecting and validating modeling and analysis data from relevant sources to ensure data integrity and traceability
Collaborating with modelers, analysts, software developers, and data scientists to build and refine modeling architectures
Assisting in developing analysis packages, testing, and debugging models
Using tools such as cloud platforms, workflow automation, and data visualization to monitor and optimize data flows
Translating technical logistics insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders
Supporting integrated logistics support (ILS) trade studies and lifecycle analyses
Tracking performance metrics and customer requirements
Researching evolving military tactics, strategies, and operational trends to enhance modeling fidelity
Supporting production releases and continuous improvement initiatives
Bridging communication across diverse teams to improve system readiness and sustainment outcomes
This role offers broad exposure to the full product lifecycle, with a strong focus on operations, support, and digital sustainment.
Required Qualifications3+ years of experience in product support, logistics, or sustainment roles
Understanding of military concepts of operations (CONOPs) and logistics principles
Experience communicating effectively with Department of Defense customers and internal stakeholders
Ability to facilitate collaboration between diverse technical and operational teams
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, systems, or related field
Experience supporting DoD aircraft maintenance, logistics, or sustainment programs
Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools such as AFSIM, LSAS, OPUS, or SIMLOX
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Background in software development, integration, or data science
Experience with lifecycle cost, mission, and logistics network analysis

Pay Details: $53.33 to $65.00 per hour
