What are your contributions to the team?
Typically a minimum of three 3 years experience in one of the following:
- Warehouse
- Shipping / Receiving
- Tool Crib
- Basic knowledge of purchasing, service orders/ methods
- Basic knowledge of AOG procedures
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Trained in Hazardous Materials Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- Customer Service Experience
How to thrive in this role?
- Execute timely Aircraft-On-the-Ground (AOG) purchase orders and Repair Station Work Orders
- Ensure proper storage and packaging of all items for shipment per requirements (i.e., export compliance, hazmat shipping, parts protections and A/C schedule)
- Proper handling of Customer Owned Property (Green tag units – Commercial only)
- Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and/or Hanger positions)
- Comply with environmental health, safety policies, procedures. Participate in 5-S activities. Perform all work in a safe and timely manner
- Receive / visually inspect all incoming and outgoing materials for physical damage
- Distribute parts, materials, tools and ground support equipment with regard to aircraft delivery schedules. May assist in ordering parts if required (BAS only)
- Verify and reconcile appropriate documentation on incoming and outgoing parts and materials
- Maintain accurate inventory (via cycle counts, perpetual, work-in-progress) using computerized or manual systems to include purchased parts, manufactured parts, materials, tools, etc.
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments
- Transport and stock materials from one location to another as required throughout the facility
- Provide verbal or written turnovers for oncoming shifts
- Issue hand tools, machine tools, dies and/or rental equipment to authorized personnel
- Perform other duties as assigned
