Job Title: Production and Cleaning OperatorJob DescriptionJoin our team as a Production and Cleaning Operator where you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our production equipment. Your attention to detail and dedication to quality will ensure that our operations run smoothly and safely.
Responsibilities- Operate controls to fill washing and sterilizing tanks with water and steam, regulating temperature as needed.
- Load baskets onto conveyors to carry parts through cleaning and sterilizing processes.
- Hand dry parts according to customer specifications.
- Examine containers for cleanliness and defects such as dents and cracks.
- Clean equipment to maintain efficient operation.
- Maintain a clean work area at all times, adhering to the 5 S’s principles.
Essential Skills- General labor experience in production, washing, cleaning, and detail work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High school diploma or GED, or up to 6 months of related experience or training.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Excellent communication and cooperation skills.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.

Work EnvironmentThe role is on the 2nd shift with a $1 shift differential, working Monday through Friday from 2 PM to 10:30 PM. The work environment requires regular physical activity, including talking, hearing, sitting, using hands, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. The noise level is moderate, and the role involves exposure to moving mechanical parts. Forklift operation is required.
