This hands-on position is responsible for testing, adjusting, repairing, and performing other general tasks related to the maintenance and repair of airframe, engine, and component systems on a variety of aircraft models.
Responsibilities
- Assist in and learn high-quality inspections, servicing, and maintenance of aircraft and engine systems and components on various aircraft production models using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Record all work performed for on-the-job training (OJT) purposes and development.
- Order general components and parts, support turn-in and record of removed parts, and manage delivery and record of received parts as needed.
- Perform minor troubleshooting, function testing, and repair of aircraft and engine systems and components.
- Prepare various documents for record-keeping as required by company policies and FAA regulations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the work order system by completing accurate and timely discrepancies and corrective action statements.
- Locate and use appropriate technical data for maintenance tasks and follow verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks.
- Support, maintain, and comply with all Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Essential Skills
- 2 years of experience, ideally in corporate aircraft maintenance.
- A&P License.
- Must have own tools (time will be given to collect them).
- Corporate experience.
