• Pay:$30–$42/hr. and hotel allowance provided for the first 8 weeks

This hands-on position is responsible for testing, adjusting, repairing, and performing general tasks related to the maintenance and repair of airframe, engine, and component systems on various aircraft models. The role is pivotal in ensuring the proper functioning of aircraft systems, contributing to a safe and efficient aviation service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in high-quality inspections, servicing, and maintenance of aircraft and engine systems using proper hand tools and specialized equipment, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely, clean, safe, and professional manner with no rework.
• Record all work performed as On-the-Job Training (OJT) for personal development and documentation.
• Accurately order general components and parts, support the turn-in and record of removed parts, and assist in the delivery and documentation of received parts as directed.
• Perform minor troubleshooting, function testing, and repair of aircraft and engine systems and components.
• Prepare various documents for record-keeping purposes, adhering to company policies and FAA regulations, including turnovers and personal training logs.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the work order system by completing discrepancies and corrective action statements promptly and accurately.
• Locate and use appropriate technical data for maintenance requirements and follow verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks.
• Build and develop personal quality maintenance mechanics and support techniques to improve proficiency and quality.
• Support, maintain, and comply with all Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations according to federal, OSHA, state, and local standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

• Minimum of 2 years experience, (corporate, GA, CRJ, or MRO experience)
• A&P License and your own tools
• Experience in aircraft maintenance and repair.
• Proficiency in using tools necessary for aircraft maintenance.

Work Environment

Candidates will primarily work inside a temperature-controlled hangar with a small, growing team. The environment is clean and well-maintained due to recent business growth. Shifts are available from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with opportunities for overtime. Additional benefits may include relocation assistance and sign-on bonuses.

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
