Summary:
Build and assemble components and structural assemblies using hand/power tools and precision instruments.
Perform drilling, bonding, fastening, riveting, and other mechanical operations on structural assemblies.
Install wire harnesses, tubing, and other components per specifications.
Modify existing assemblies as needed.
Troubleshoot and repair components or assemblies during production.
Maintain accurate records of completed work, inspections, and non-conformances.
Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and configuration control.
Work with engineers to suggest design improvements and process enhancements.
Execute work through work orders, designs, and technical procedures.
Requirements:
Must be able to obtain Secret clearance after hiring
Technical diploma, associate degree, or equivalent experience in aircraft maintenance, machine trades, or manufacturing technologies.
Hands-on experience with:
Composites, titanium, sheet metal
Riveting, fastening, wiring, tubing
Basic machining operations
Familiarity with technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Use of tooling such as torque wrenches, countersinks, drills, deburring tools, and calibrated instruments.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Skills:
Certifications such as A&P or specialty technical training.
Advanced or specialized experience in aerospace manufacturing or maintenance.
