JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Maintenance Control Quality Analyst
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Maintenance Control Manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Audit all log pages for discrepancies, corrective actions, and ensure that SDR, EDR, and MISR items are reported.
2. Notify necessary parties of paperwork errors and correction requests.
3. Track all log pages and maintain a detailed log of audited paperwork.
4. Review Advisory Notice entries for completeness and correctness, and close as necessary.
5. Document log pages that are not received and notify the appropriate department or individual.
6. Review MISA and AMOS for Maintenance Delays. Ensure they have the correct coding, narrative, and duration.
7. Work with MXC, FMEs, and Line Stations to gather information as needed.
8. Reconcile delays in AMOS using APN 713 and 432.
9. Challenge delays with OCCQA as necessary.
10. Generate and maintain delay reports as necessary.
11. Review applied MELs for consistency and accuracy.
12. Maintain a detailed shift log.
13. Assist Maintenance Control when requested by Management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
2 years of aircraft maintenance control experience preferred
FAA Airframe & Power Plant Certificate required
Individual must be organized and able to work with computers and programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Company Software
Must be eligible to work in the U.S
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school graduate; some college and/or technical school desirable.
Must have a good working knowledge of world geography and flight operations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to give verbal and written directions.
