Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused AOG (Aircraft on Ground) Manager to lead and oversee all external AOG recovery and response operations. This leadership role is critical in ensuring rapid, efficient, and professional field support for our valued clients, primarily corporate flight departments, charter operators, and aircraft owners. The AOG Manager will coordinate mobile field teams, oversee logistics and tooling, and serve as the primary escalation point for external AOG events, ensuring exceptional customer communication and satisfaction throughout the aircraft recovery process.
The ideal candidate brings deep operational expertise in business and corporate aviation and is well-versed across multiple aircraft platforms including Gulfstream, Bombardier, Citation, Falcon, Embraer, and King Air models.
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary escalation contact for AOG events, providing high-level support to external clients, including owners, directors of maintenance, and flight departments.

Ensure all mobile units, tooling, and service vehicles are audit-ready, clean, compliant, and fully equipped for immediate deployment.

Supervise and support AOG technicians in the field, ensuring service quality, regulatory compliance, and clear documentation.

Review work orders, parts usage, and corrective action documentation for completeness and accuracy.

Track and report on AOG performance metrics, including dispatch time, resolution speed, field cost, and customer feedback.

Continuously improving customer response processes, communication protocols, and technician deployment strategies.

Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of MSU technicians, ensuring OEM technical relevance and field safety standards.

Actively participate in after-hours response and on-call management rotation for critical customer needs.

Working Conditions:

Requires after-hours and weekend availability to support AOG response demands

Frequent travel to remote airports, customer hangars, and operational sites under variable environmental conditions

Must be able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform work in confined or elevated areas
