Job Title: Aircraft Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an Aircraft Technician to perform line maintenance at ORD for major carriers, focusing primarily on Airbus and Boeing aircraft for Frontier Airlines. You will be responsible for both on-call and scheduled line maintenance, ensuring routine maintenance and airworthiness releases are conducted within the scope of approval to return aircraft to service.
Responsibilities
- Perform servicing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft, engines, and associated components to meet deadlines and performance goals.
- Troubleshoot systems, disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components to maintain full functioning equipment according to approved technical data.
- Ensure all departing aircraft are safe in accordance with FAR’s and air carrier/manufacturer manuals, documenting all work performed.
- Execute assigned line maintenance duties, activities, and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate and communicate with the air carrier’s maintenance control center as required.
Essential Skills
- A&P License
- Driver License
- Possession of own tools
- 1 year of airline experience or experience working on Boeing/Airbus/CRJs

- Previous lead experience

Work Environment
Candidates will primarily work outdoors, with access to a vehicle for traveling to each aircraft for maintenance. An office located just outside the airport is available for training purposes. Training is conducted in teams, but once fully proficient, candidates will work independently. The position involves a night shift from 4:00pm to 2:00am, with schedules spanning Sunday-Wednesday and Wednesday-Saturday.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
