Job Title: Station ManagerJob Description
The Station Manager is a hands-on working manager responsible for performing duties as outlined in operational manuals. This role involves preparing assignments for technicians, managing administration and attendance using TimeForce, and ensuring compliance with maintenance manuals and company policies. Must have an A&P License and Leadership experience .
Responsibilities
- Prepare assignments for technicians and manage administration and attendance via TimeForce.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance manuals, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor manpower requirements on shifts and assign technicians for maximum productivity.
- Coordinate personnel, equipment, tooling, and resources for timely AOG corrections.
- Track and monitor calibration validity and serviceability of tooling.
- Ensure technicians comply with work behavior policies.
- Communicate station issues to senior management promptly.
- Review emails, phone messages, and memos regularly.
- Ensure completion of turnover logs by the team.
- Participate in weekly conference calls with senior management.
- Coordinate hiring and firing matters with senior management and HR.
- Review paperwork for accuracy and submit as required.
- Recruit, hire, and train new technicians.
- Manage airport badging requirements and renewals.
- Evaluate and resolve MX discrepancies.
- Ensure MX activities comply with company and customer requirements.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
- Work nights, holidays, weekends, and travel as required.
Essential Skills- Line Maintenance experience
- Management experience
- Valid FAA A&P Certification
- Valid Driver License
- Minimum of 5 years leadership/management experience
- Positive attitude towards productivity, safety, and quality maintenance
- Good communication skills (verbal, written, and radio)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Possession of own set of tools
- Authorization to work in the United States
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Flexible to work holidays and weekends
- Commercial leadership/management experience
- Commercial line maintenance experience
Work EnvironmentThis position operates within both office and hangar environments, requiring adaptability to various conditions and working hours.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Houston, Texas.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $145000.00/yr.
