About the Role:

AirStar Flight Support, a division of AirStar Inc., is seeking a seasoned Director of Maintenance to oversee operations at our KAHN and KSBO facilities. This leadership role ensures top-tier safety, compliance, and efficiency in aircraft maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage maintenance operations across both facilities.
• Ensure FAA compliance and uphold safety standards.
• Lead and mentor A&P mechanics and maintenance staff.
• Develop and maintain efficient maintenance schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and repairs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for maintenance planning.
• Implement quality control measures.
• Oversee budgets, inventory, and equipment procurement.

Qualifications:

• FAA A&P License with IA certification (Required)
• Inspection Authorization (IA) required within 12 months of hire.
• Must meet requirements FAR 119.71
• Must have experience on CE-525
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
  
• Minimum of 3 years of experience maintaining multi-engine aircraft.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role. 
• Comprehensive knowledge of FAA regulations and safety protocols.
• CAMP and Corridor Software knowledge
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to lead high-performing teams.
• Experience in budget management and inventory control.
