Job Description:

Description:Provide direction and support daily operations for ESH professionals at the Marietta site and two smaller locations in MS and WV.

Promote the ESH culture by driving various ESH performance improvement initiatives and employee engagement activities.

Build effective relationships and trust with key stakeholders and business partners thus driving program enhancements.

Experience leading ESH strategy and major initiatives including Target Zero, Go Green and ISO 14001.

Manage the site’s ESH management system elements and support development and reporting of metrics and performance data.

Assure compliance with applicable ESH regulatory, corporate, and customer requirements.

Ability to develop new and innovative methods to increase employee awareness and engagement in compliance programs/initiatives.

Support management of the ESH organization’s expense and capital budgets.

Coordinate with other Aero locations and represent the facility in working groups or new initiatives
Support a multidisciplinary workers compensation team including a robust return to work program.

Basic Qualifications:
- Proven ESH background in an industrial environment with strong business acumen and operations knowledge

- Experience developing and maintaining ESH programs in compliance with key regulations.

- Knowledge of and experience with ESH management system elements, such as ISO 14001/45001 and/or OSHA VPP.

- Ability to plan and execute data analysis in support of tactical and strategic decision making.

- Experience leading organizational change and strategies.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of and experience with ESH management system elements, such as ISO 14001/45001.

- Understanding of union environments and collective bargaining agreements.

- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, across levels of the organization.

- Proficient with computer-based tools and applications (Microsoft Office business programs).

- Ability to make difficult decisions, solve complex issues and influence ESH cultural improvement.

- Ability to respond to internal and external issues to maintain regulatory compliance and enhance the employee experience.

Experience authoring command media and program documentation.

Experience in change management and planning activities as they relate to ESH integration and considerations.

Demonstrated management experience and oversight of budget elements, including both overhead and capital expenditures.

Professional Certification/Lean Six Sigma green or black belt or other continuous improvement tools and techniques knowledge, including thorough root cause analysis and mistake-proofing processes.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
