Plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of contract performance work requirements. Responsibilities include assisting with formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. The Operations Manager’s duties are primarily managerial in multiple functional areas and include:
Responsibilities
Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of support services, through contributing improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team.
Must possess a proven ability to think independently and handle multiple projects through to completion.
Demonstrate a record of successfully collaborating with and influencing customers.
Demonstrate ability to lead and manage staff.
Identify, acquire and utilize company resources to achieve project technical objectives.
Manage the operation of Army STAMIS systems.
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive experience in program management/logistics.
7+ years management and supervision experience; at least 2 of which are related to U.S. Army STAMIS systems.
Proficient in standard business office software.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
Ability to receive a favorable TIER 1 investigation and obtain/maintain a CAC.
High School Diploma / GED.
Desired Qualifications:
Previous military experience.
Previous project management experience.
Previous quality and safety management experience.
- Valid Drivers License.
Pay & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $95K - $104K.
