Our Aerospace business is seeking an experienced Repair and Overhaul Quality Manager for its Prince Edward Island site. The Repair and Overhaul Quality Manager is responsible for managing the site Quality Assurance Program and ensures that quality standards and procedures are established, met, and aligned with onsite contract manufacturer, Customer, company specifications and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. The Manager will also establish performance standards, procedures, and audit controls to meet business requirements, as well as identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Quality Assurance Program. The position is also responsible for directly managing and developing several quality professionals including site customer quality engineers and auditors. They are responsible for maintenance for Repair and Overhaul under Transport Canada and acts as an audit leader with internal/external customers.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and drive team in delivering right and fast quality results.
- Manage and Maintain integrity and compliance.
- Coach and develop strong performing team.
- Drive continuous improvement and lead change within the Quality organization and Honeywell Operating System.
- Develop and Manage strong operating process/system with customer and supplier quality teams.
- Lead cross functional teams to drive quality improvement plans.
- Manage Site quality performance Audits, audit results and drive preventive measures.
Qualifications
The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP security clearance.
The annual base salary for this position starts at $100,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidates work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as spanet and business considerations.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 6 years of working experience in an aerospace manufacturing setting.
- Minimum of 6 years of quality management experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of leading a quality team in a manufacturing environment.
WE VALUE
- 6 or more years of experience dealing with quality management systems, regulations, guidelines and associated standards preferably in an aerospace manufacturing environment and experience with Canadian Aviation Regulations related to Manufacturing and Maintenance of aeronautical products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate at senior leadership levels
- Significant experience in Repair and Overhaul maintenance under Transport Canada
- Aware & understands international & virtual teamwork; demonstrated ability to develop and foster strong cross-functional relationships.
- Experience with Microsoft product suite, with an advanced level of proficiency in Excel.
- Six Sigma Greenbelt trained/certified and strong project management skills.
- Ability to motivate team to achieve business objectives.
- Ability to lead, drive change, and influence others.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills to address quality issues.
- Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities.
- Solid understanding of Quality improvement principles, RCCA and Six Sigma
