Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Development Representative (Level 4 or 5) to join the Business Development (BD) team in Berkeley, MO, Arlington, VA, Seattle, WA, Everett, WA, Renton, WA, and Tukwila, WA!
The Marketing & Sales Representative reports to the International Strategic Partnerships (ISP) Senior Manager in supporting the fulfillment of existing ISP (Offset) commitments and pursuing new business opportunities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities.
Position Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Support the execution of offset programs by managing budgets, tracking risks and opportunities, and providing regular updates to leadership
- Strategic Thinking: Develop project management framework to execute numerous offset projects within contractual requirements and support sales and campaigns strategies
- Customer Engagement: Interface with defense and commercial customers and beneficiaries to understand and meet their needs and priorities to ensure smooth execution of programs
- Act as an internal customer advocate and the interface between the customer and internal organizations to ensure responsiveness in fulfilling customer requests
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with internal stakeholders like supply chain, contracts and finance, aircraft program, etc. to drive performance of the offset programs
- Supplier Coordination: Interact with Boeing’s global Tier-1s and Offset Partners to execute current program commitments and develop future collaboration pipeline
- Proposal Development: Support offset proposal development including project design and financial estimates in response to customer requests
- Analytical & Financial Acumen: Ability to quantify local offset investment and work closely with programs for financial reporting and support Long Range Business Plan (LRBP)
- Policy Shaping: Demonstrated ability to align business strategy with evolving government priorities.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. The candidate will be required to come on-site 5 days a week.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in leading or implementing strategic initiatives in a cross-functional environment
- Solid business acumen, teaming, and excellent stakeholder communication and empathy
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with executives or senior leaders
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience facilitating internal and external customer interfaces and requirements
- 5+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Direct experience with defense offset or localization efforts and negotiating with government stakeholders or supporting complex contract structures
- Ability to influence and effectively communicate complex topics with internal and external leadership and stakeholders including demonstrated presentation development and delivery skills as well as effective business writing skills
- Strong analytical/technical skills which include the following: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers and stakeholders
- Has working knowledge of Boeing’s organizations, processes, policies and procedures and products

Level 5 - $164,050 - $221,950
Tier 2:
Level 4 - $120,700 - $163,300
Level 5 - $153,000 - $207,000
