The Supply Chain Manager APAC is responsible for:

• Overall optimization of the Supply Chain of aircraft parts for component customers in Asia Pacific
• Continuous optimization of the supply chain for aircraft components & align with interfaces 
• Manage the material flow involving in-house logistics companies, warehouses, freight forwarders
• Improve efficiency of supply chain
• Design & implement logistics concepts for warehousing and/or transportation proactively
• Ensure stable supply performance as well as the continuous improvement of logistics processes
• Monitor KPIs, improve end-customer transparency in KPI reporting & ensure targets are met
• Support product sales & fulfillment team in tender & fulfillment processes
• Support local Production Alternatives team with analyses

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain and/or Business Administration with strong academic record. MBA or  equivalent Master Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics is an advantage
• Relevant experience in Supply Chain Management
• Experience in strategic & operational logistics
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills in English
• Excellent coordination & analytical skills
• Sound knowledge of managing projects
• Ability to make decisions autonomously & to bear responsibility
• Ability to represent Lufthansa Technik in a consistent & professional way
• Willing to travel extensively within Asia Pacific & to Europe
• Must possess a legal work permit in Hong Kong
