Job Description:

Responsible for planning, administration, and monitoring of consistent quality readiness (business units) as directed by the Chief Quality Officer. In addition, monitor changes to regulatory requirements; keep up with industry quality system changes such as ISO and AS system changes and pass on needed information to the business units. 

What you will be responsible for: 

  • Coordinates all efforts to monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements as well as industry-based groups. 
  • Assist in implementation of program evaluations: such as IEP, audits and other surveillance programs as requested by the business unit leaders or the Chief Quality Officer. 
  • Provides guidance and consultation on quality matters in support of the companys goals and objectives as needed by the business units. 
  • Plans and schedules AAR CORP. quality assessments at all business units. 
  • Conduct investigations as directed by the Chief Quality Officer. 
  • Recommend updates and changes to AAR CORP policies and procedures. 
  • Submits recommendations of amendments to the Chief Quality Officer for approval. 
  • Responds to quality and compliance inquiries from customers, staff, government agencies, etc. 
  • Promotes the mission, vision and values that AAR CORP has developed. 
  • Provides point of contact for APRISe changes and updates to the business units. 
  • Assist in developing, implementing and executing compliance training programs as directed by the Chief Quality Officer. 
  • Support with RFPs, contract reviews and research. 
  • Execute additional duties as assigned by the Chief Quality Officer. 
Job Requirements:

What you need to be successful in this role: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required, master’s preferred
  • 10-15 years of compliance program management, ethics programs, risk management, policy development and governance
  • Ability to travel internationally 10-20%
  • Ability to operationalize a compliance strategy across a complex enterprise 
  • Experience evaluating and improving compliance programs 
  • Program governance and reporting to audit/compliance committees
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with team members at all levels of the organization
  • Commitment to company values and ethics
  • Team oriented, self-motivated and willing to take ownership of projects.
