Job Title: Workshop Supervisor
Job Description
The Workshop Supervisor is responsible for compiling, classifying, and monitoring the workshop services concerning maintenance and disruptions to vehicles and installations. The role involves advising management and informing team members regarding operational decision-making. This position reports directly to the Workshop Manager.
Responsibilities
- Coaching and leading the team, taking responsibility for quality, efficiency, safety, and resources within the unit.
- Motivating team members and fostering teamwork.
- Managing resource and manpower allocation in coordination with management.
- Ensuring correct stock management by determining and ordering necessary resources such as spare parts and office supplies.
- Providing insights to management regarding planning feasibility and advising on possible solutions and bottlenecks.
- Identifying and visualizing planned maintenance and outstanding issues using available systems.
- Tracking the progress of work packages, including disruptions and maintenance, by monitoring standard times, bottlenecks, backlog, and feasibility.
- Assisting team members in processing and making production figures and quality data visible to operations.
- Creating, checking, evaluating, and signing inspection lists.
- Implementing contingency procedures.
Essential Skills
- 5 years of hands-on GSE and diesel maintenance experience.
- 3-5 years of leadership or management experience.
- Expert technical background in GSE maintenance and repair, including mechanics, hydraulics, electricity, air pressure, aircon/refrigeration units, and electrical systems.
- Ability to make complex decisions under pressure.
- Stress resistance.
- Assists in the implementation of formal quality improvement.
- Commitment to achieving an OHSA-friendly working environment.
- Team-oriented communication.
- Drive for excellence.
- Good MS Office 365 skills.
- Strong leadership skills in facilitating teamwork, communicating vision, effective delegation, managing change, managing conflict, and directing others.

Work Environment
This on-site role is based at the assigned workshop, involving regular movement across workshop, yard, and airside areas, as well as office-based administrative work. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an active airport-issued airside badge. The position requires active supervision of operations, equipment inspections, interaction with staff and customers, and completion of business administration tasks using a computer and related systems. Physical requirements include frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching, with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Good vision and hearing are essential. Exposure to noise, weather, and typical industrial hazards is expected.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $91520.00 - $95680.00/yr.
They offer three different medical plans with UHC (1 HSA plan and two traditional plans), there is cost sharing as well, for Employee Only TCR covers 80 of the monthly premium, for EE+ 1 or EE + Family TCR covers 65.
