Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Business, is looking for an Entry Level Quality Inspector to join our team in Foley, AL.
Position Responsibilities:
Conducts dimensional and visual inspections
Proofreads paperwork for traceability for part number, lot number accuracy and test requirements
Conduct visual Inspections for obvious defects.
Scanning of certifications, packing slips, test reports and pertinent documents associated with the item being received
Review and disposition all certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and Company Standards. Disposition and control on non-conforming products.
Assist in internal, customer and third-party audits. Identify and communicate opportunities to increase Inspector productivity.
Assist with the on-hold process.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
0 - 1 year of related work experience
Knowledge and understanding of traceability
Detailed oriented, well organized, self-motivated and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite and use of office equipment and computers
Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills
This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Previous aerospace inspection experience
Ability to read blueprints
Knowledge of AS9100 requirements
Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
Understanding of Six Sigma / team concepts
