What are your contributions to the team?
- Prepare estimates to establish the basis for manufacturing manuals and MBOM, as well as the costs and lead times for manufacturing detail parts and/or assemblies.
- Interpret, verify, and approve technical drawings and documents from engineering.
- Quickly define assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components.
- Identify the tools required for manufacturing or assembly to ensure compliance with geometric tolerancing.
- Actively participate in customer support by coordinating the resolution of technical issues with support teams.
How to thrive in this role?
You must hold a college or university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Manufacturing, Electrical, Industrial, Electromechanical, or a related field.
You have between five (5) and eight (8) years of relevant experience in quoting, methods, or a related field (experience with Bombardier, customer service, finance, strategy, or management consulting).
You are proficient in reading technical drawings, have strong 3D visualization skills, and demonstrate an analytical mindset.
You have knowledge of CAD software such as Catia, Enovia, and MACPAC, as well as the MS Office suite.
You have knowledge of SAP and/or Siemens NX.
You are an excellent team player and are recognized for your perseverance, judgment, and solution‑oriented mindset.
You are fluent in spoken and written French and have a good knowledge of English.
You have knowledge of composites or large assemblies (an asset).
