Job Title: Micron AssemblerJob DescriptionThe Micron Assembler is responsible for assembling and integrating satellite components on a production line. This role involves bonding structural parts, installing circuit boards and batteries, assembling, and performing functional checks. The assembler must handle delicate components carefully, adhere to detailed work instructions, and maintain strict quality standards. Working collaboratively with the team, the assembler supports the successful build and readiness of structures and satellite systems for further integration and testing.
Responsibilities- Bond and assemble satellite structures using adhesives and proper techniques.
- Install pre-assembled electronics, including circuit boards and batteries, into assemblies.
- Assemble structural components, ensuring proper alignment and secure connections.
- Conduct basic testing and inspections to confirm functionality and quality.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions and production procedures accurately.
- Handle fragile components carefully and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Perform repetitive assembly tasks with consistent attention to detail.
- Collaborate with team members to support production schedules and quality goals.
Essential Skills- Experience with assembly, hand tools, power tools, blueprints, and sheet metal.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High school diploma or GED.
- Eligibility to work in the US as a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or with appropriate work authorization.
- Associates degree or certificate in a technical area.
- Experience in assembly or manufacturing.
- High aptitude for working with small electronics, including soldering small electrical components or mechanical equipment.
- Experience in the space or aeronautical field.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
