Role Summary
* In this role, you will perform staking, masking, and conformal coating applications on electronic assemblies in a high-reliability environment. You will apply engineering changes and modifications, document assembly actions, inspect your work and that of others, and collaborate with quality, manufacturing, and customer teams to ensure products meet quality and schedule requirements. Education & Job Requirements
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Minimum 1 year of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
* Ability to read and interpret BOMs, Work Instructions, Travelers, blueprints, Routers, and Engineering Change Notices.
* Ability to follow written and oral instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
* U.S. Citizenship required. Professional Attributes
* Attention to detail and precision in manual assembly work.
* Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records of labor and assembly actions.
* Ability to collaborate with peers, supervisors, and quality representatives.
* Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant work environment. Preferred Skills
* IPC-610 Certification, Class III.
* J-STD-001 Certification.
* Experience using specialized hand tools, torque screwdrivers, dispensing equipment, and spray guns.
* Familiarity with conformal coating, potting compounds, adhesives, and masking techniques. Job Duties & Functions
* Perform conformal coating, potting compound, and adhesive application on electronic units according to documented processes and instructions.
* Perform engineering changes, modifications, and repairs as directed.
* Use specialized hand tools and equipment accurately and safely.
* Generate detailed assembly records and accurately record labor.
* Follow assembly sequences as depicted in travelers.
* Inspect your work and work performed by others for quality compliance.
* Interface with quality representatives, manufacturing engineers, and customers as required.
* Maintain expected quality standards, ESD compliance, housekeeping, and safety requirements.
* Train or assist other employees as needed.
