Position OverviewThe Calibration Technician is responsible for calibrating, maintaining, and repairing a wide variety of electronic and mechanical test and measurement equipment. This role supports quality, compliance, and production accuracy in a controlled lab or industrial environment. Technicians may work independently or collaboratively depending on workload and project needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesCalibrate and repair electronic and mechanical test and measurement equipment
Perform calibration on AC/DC low-voltage instruments (multimeters, power meters, voltage calibrators)
Calibrate RF and frequency equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, RF counters)
Service temperature and humidity devices including thermometers, data loggers, ovens, and environmental chambers
Calibrate insulation testers, dielectric testers, and related generating equipment
Calibrate mechanical instruments such as torque wrenches, calipers, scales, and pressure gauges
Follow established calibration procedures, methods, and documentation requirements
Accurately document calibration results and maintain records per quality standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
QualificationsPrior experience calibrating and repairing test and measurement equipment
Knowledge of AC/DC circuitry
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and written procedures
Familiarity with ISO 17025 quality systems and calibration practices (preferred)
Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent technical experience
Commercial, military PMEL, or TMDE experience is a plus
Basic computer skills, including Excel
Ability to lift up to 33 lbs unassisted

Pay Details: $20.48 per hour
