About the Role

As a Conformal Coating Operator, youll play a critical part in ensuring the performance and durability of electronic assemblies by applying protective coatings. Whether working by hand or operating state-of-the-art PVA machines, your precision and focus will help deliver flawless results on cutting-edge technology used in vital industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate hand spray and PVA machines to apply conformal or silicone coatings to electronic assemblies

• Prepare materials, mask components, mix coatings, and follow detailed blueprints and work instructions

• Inspect finished assemblies using black lights, perform touch-ups, and ensure coatings meet all quality standards

• Support potting processes using specialized Asymtec equipment

• Maintain clean, organized workspaces and follow all safety and preventive maintenance procedures

• Communicate effectively with Leads, Supervisors, and Engineers to align priorities and troubleshoot issues

• Assist team members and adapt to various roles across manufacturing as needed

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• High school diploma or GED

• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or similar hands-on production role

• Ability to read blueprints, process sheets, and measurement tools

• Comfortable working with chemicals and using a respirator (must pass medical and fit testing)

• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to fine detail

• Visual acuity of 20/20 (with or without corrective lenses) and ability to pass color vision test

Preferred:

• IPC-610 Certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Experience with PVA coating equipment or similar machinery

• Background in electronics assembly or aerospace/medical device manufacturing
