About the RoleAs a Fuel Cell Sealer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, safety, and performance of aircraft fuel systems and aerodynamic structures. Your work directly supports high-quality aerospace manufacturing, helping deliver reliable and efficient aircraft to customers worldwide.
Job Type: Full-time; Consultant Possible temp to perm
Location: Renton
Schedule: Monday–Friday (must be able to work either shift)
Pay Rate: $45–47 per hour
Per Diem: $110/day for qualified non-local candidates
What You’ll DoIn this hands-on, high-precision role, you will:
Perform sealing processes including fillet and fay sealing, cap sealing, brush coating, and aerodynamic sealing on major assemblies and integral fuel cells.
Apply scotch cast, leveling compounds, and conduct pressure testing per specifications.
Work from blueprints, engineering drawings, and quality control requirements.
Complete data transactions and documentation to support production progression.
Perform rework, change incorporation, functional checks, and inspections.
Use measuring instruments to ensure precision and compliance.
Identify and report process or tooling challenges and recommend improvements.
Support continuous product flow by coaching and assisting team members.
Document discrepancies according to procedures and quality standards.
Temporarily attach components and hardware during sealing operations.
Apply sealing compounds to integral fuel cell and wing section components.
Required QualificationsExterior aerodynamic sealing experience is required.
Ability to work either shift.
Experience working with blueprints, specifications, and aerospace quality standards.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and precision.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred QualificationsExperience in large structure or major assembly sealing.
Knowledge of BAC5504 sealing processes.
Familiarity with fuel tank sealing and inspection.
Previous aerospace manufacturing experience.
Training & Travel SupportYou’ll receive specialized training to strengthen your skills and prepare you for success:
SEA092, SEA083, ASY050, and standard online training.
Training conducted in Wichita.
Flights arranged and paid by our company, or mileage reimbursement if you prefer to drive.
Hotel reimbursement during training.
Permanent eligibility upon completion of certification programs.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $47.00 per hour
