At our Prestwick Service Centre we are specialists in the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of aircraft engine nacelle systems and engine components. An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Continuous Improvement and Training Department for a student from a relevant discipline to undertake a summer placement. This will be a minimum 12-week placement, running approximately between June and September, and will be based at our facility in Prestwick, Scotland.

What you will do:

You will work alongside our experienced team, assisting in all areas of the Continuous Improvement & Training, with specific exposure to:

• Data Analytics

• Power BI Metrics Creation

• SAP Interrogation

What you will learn:

This placement will provide you with the opportunity to learn from an experienced team and gain a strong understanding of key processes within the Continuous Improvement & Training department. You will develop practical skills and gain valuable insight into working within the aerospace sector.

Qualifications we prefer:

• A willingness to learn and a commitment to achieving both business and personal goals

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• The ability to multitask and prioritise your workload effectively

• Currently studying towards, or recently completed, a university or college qualification with a significant Data Science component

• A keen interest in pursuing a career in Data Science or within the aerospace industry
