Duration: Full-Time Consultant (6 Months)
Pay Rate : $60 - $68 per hour
Make an Impact Where Precision and Performance MatterPDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a world-class aerospace leader to support the 767 Program by adding experienced Lean Practitioners to the BCA Core Lean Office. In this highly visible role, you will drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations, coach leaders and teams, and embed Lean thinking into daily execution. Your expertise will directly influence efficiency, quality, and operational excellence in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
What You’ll Do Day to DayLead and coach the implementation of our Production System concepts across manufacturing and operational areas
Partner with manufacturing teams, functional support groups, and leadership on structured problem-solving initiatives
Promote a strong culture of continuous improvement using Lean tools and principles
Facilitate and project-manage improvement workshops, including:
Accelerated Improvement Workshops (AIWs)
Value Stream Mapping
3P
Kaizen events
Leader Standard Work, Tier Boards, Kamishibai, Point of Use, and more
Support advanced and complex process improvement efforts
Instruct and mentor teams using standardized Lean training materials; assist with formatting and updating content
Coach senior managers and executive-level teams on Daily Management systems and cadence
Remove barriers to progress while empowering teams to sustain improvements independently
Mentor less-experienced Lean practitioners in proper tool application
Participate in maturity assessments and Lean evaluations
Contribute to strategy development and continuous improvement of internal Lean processes
Maintain an individual development plan and support occasional 2nd and 3rd shift activities as needed
Required QualificationsProven experience as a Lean Practitioner
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
Effective presentation and facilitation capabilities
Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Preferred QualificationsExperience working in an aerospace environment
Lean Six Sigma education or certification
Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master’s degree with 8+ years, or 14+ years of related experience)

Pay Details: $60.00 to $68.00 per hour
