Job Description:
A vacancy has arisen in the lines of our A400M Program Controllers as AMSL A400M Industrial Controller in Airbus Defence & Space, Tablada (Sevilla)
Being a Program Controller requires a robust business understanding, a feeling for numbers and solid social skills to be able to manage your stakeholders in adversity towards the best business decisions for the company. The role is challenging in its complexity and has to be undertaken by somebody who is capable to understand the people, the product and the numbers.
You will work with the project team and be embedded in the Finance community. A high level of self-awareness, emotional intelligence, conflict management skills, persistence, and assertiveness are required to master this business partnering role.
RESPONSABILITIES
Within the A400M Program Industrial and Delivery Center controlling team, the jobholder will be accountable for implementing and managing the controlling for:
- IPPs work package, including the recurring and non-recurring cost
- Support to PWP work package recurring cost
- Support to Overall management work package
- Support to Industrial EAC and Operations controlling.
- Support Industrial Controlling Department Improvement initiatives and ad-hoc exercises as well as offers preparation.
Main missions for these accountabilities
- Implement and execute the new process for cost follow-up and revenue recognition aligned with regulatory and price requirements
- Implement and execute the related controlling activities
- Implement and manage a full monthly financial reporting
- Accountable for all aspects related to cash out for those activities
- Act as the focal point for program representative, work packages controllers, accounting, tax and legal departments for all those activities
- Provide performance against budgets/targets highlighting discrepancies and propose mitigation actions if needed in accordance with price transparency requirements where applicable
- Challenge the program manager to ensure respect of budget and deadlines and adherence to price transparency requirements
- Be the business partner for program and provide financial inputs to ease the decision -making process
- Control the retentions to apply to all vendors based in retentions applied by OCCAR
- Elaborate EAC / FC and OP planning for those activities
- Collaborate in all contractual changes that apply to IPPs and/or PWP vendors
- Prepare Internal Controls (ICSA) analysis and documentation for AMSL.
- Collaborate in offers as requested
Main activities
- Control and update the individual EAC of all vendors. Include all changes coming from new contractual scheme, actuals reported and escalation changes.
- OP/MOPL/FC Elaboration
- Control the retentions applied to all vendors. Calculate the amount to release based in the releases to OCCAR.
- Participate and collaborate on contractual changes and new payment plans
- Preparation and control of the invoicing of all vendors. Checking with EAC and contractual info.
- Function controlling approach for AMSL vendors related to overall management workpackage. Creation of purchasing request for AMSL.
- Support APA team with any AMSL info required.
- Collaborate in Industrial Controlling Department monthly closures and reporting.
- Collaborate in EAC Consolidation, presentation and communication of items.
- Involvement in Improvement initiatives and ad-hoc exercises for the Department
- Collaborate in offers preparation as requested.
Skills:
- Financial background: degree in Economics with major in Accountancy and Auditing or degree in Engineering with strong background in those aspects.
- Financial Management Program: experience in analysing financial Statements
- Negotiation and communication skills
- Deep knowledge in SAP, particularly accounts payable related transactions
- Ability to prepare business cases and interpret information including cash flow, Net Present Value and IRR
- Ability to interpret and utilize detailed reports produced from financial systems: CUC, SAP
- Synthetic
- Reliable and well organized
- Team player in international environment
