Project Officer
23.08 - 30.88 per hour
Morson are currently recruiting for an opportunity to support an Aerospace Manufacturer as a Project Officer in their Broughton production facility. Reporting to the Enablement Leader, you will be liaising with engineering to design project solutions. We’re looking for someone with experience leading or supporting projects in a Manufacturing or Production environment.
This role is being offered on a 12 month contract, based full time on site in Broughton. The role is paying a rate of 23.08 per hour PAYE or 30.88 per hour Umbrella Inside IR35.
Responsibilities
- Controlling and maintaining consumable materials and tooling.
- Liaison with Facilities and Services to ensure adherence to agreed Service Level Agreements.
- Management interface between Tool Control Centre and Operations.
- Support Capex projects and facility improvements.
- Assessing continuous improvement opportunities and implementing new processes.
- Support Safety engineer regarding compliance to health, safety & environmental issues
- Financial analysis, control and reporting.
- Support and maintenance of lean manufacturing systems.
Requirements
- Project support or enablement experience.
- Problem solving experience.
- Tooling experience and procedural documentation.
- Manufacturing or project management experience a plus
- Knowledge of Lean systems.
- Ideally general knowledge and experience of aircraft assembly tools and techniques.
- Experience of introducing continuous improvement ideas.
Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will need to be BPSS cleared or eligible for this level of clearance before starting on site
