We are currently inviting applications for the role of Sales Executive (Grade EK.06), based in Pakistan, to support the EK Outstation business. This role is critical in achieving assigned portfolio revenue targets, supporting the overall country commercial plan, and ensuring Emirates maintains a strong and competitive position in the spanet. The successful candidate will focus on sourcing new business, nurturing existing accounts, and executing effective sales and spaneting initiatives within a defined portfolio of corporate clients and travel agencies.
The key responsibilities will include :
Plan and recommend effective promotional action plans aligned with assigned revenue and commercial objectives.
Actively contribute to sales planning sessions by sharing customer insights, spanet intelligence, and emerging trends.
Ensure product offerings, pricing strategies, and promotional initiatives are well aligned with spanet needs.
Deploy, monitor, and optimise sales strategies across the assigned territory to maintain competitive positioning.
Coordinate the distribution and effective use of spaneting and promotional materials within the portfolio.
Collaborate closely with internal sales teams and supporting business units to maximise revenue opportunities.
Achieve or exceed assigned revenue and passenger targets within the allocated area of responsibility.
Execute and manage incentive programmes with travel trade and corporate partners in line with approved guidelines.
Analyse competitor activity and spanet trends to support data-driven sales and business decisions.
Prepare regular sales and financial performance reports, providing actionable insights and recommendations to management.
QualificationCandidates should have a minimum of 12 years of schooling or equivalent, with at least 5 years of sales experience in the travel or airline industry, including a minimum of 3 years in an outdoor sales and spaneting role. Strong knowledge of travel trade distribution, corporate sales, and spanet dynamics is essential. The role requires excellent customer service, presentation, and negotiation skills, along with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Applicants must be adaptable, results-driven, and able to perform effectively under pressure. A valid driving licence is required, along with flexibility to work after hours and on weekends when business needs demand. Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory.
